Coater Options & Add-ons

Fergesen Systems LLC is pleased to offer superior products that enhance the function of most 3-roll Roller Coaters, whether they be the old Dorn systems or the newest Tec Lighting. Included within are supplies needed to ensure a quality results from any UV Roller Coater system.

Startup Supplies:

• INST1 Install Kit Ð The Install Kit includes 40 lb UV high gloss coating, 1 Gallon UV100 solvent, rags, gloves, and two pairs of UV resistant glasses. Everything you will need to have a smooth startup.

Coater Add-Ons:

• BKIT1 Bucket Kit includes stainless steel bucket cane & clip (for quick change over between coating jobs and to ensure the suction inlet remains at the bottom of the bucket), mixing paddle, and stainless steel coating filter to keep your coating clean.
• BBRT2 Barrel Kit includes stainless steel barrel cane & bracket (for quick change over between coating jobs and to ensure the suction inlet remains at the bottom of the barrel), large mixing paddle, stainless steel coating filter to keep your coating clean, and our pump-back system to ensure consistent coating circulation back to a barrel that has a level 1' to 10' above the coater.
• BKHTR Bucket heater (for plastic 5 gal. pails) to gently warm the coating up to an optimal 85 degrees for consistent coating thickness, better gloss and better lay down.
• BBRL Barrel heater (for plastic or steel 55 gal. drums) to gently warm the coating up to an optimal 85 degrees for consistent coating thickness, better gloss and better lay down.
• BKSTD Bucket stand with catch tray on castors for ease of bucket management and additional peristaltic pump with control valve for more precise pumping control to any roller coater (for 5 gal. pails)
• Heat Smoother for better coating lay-down and higher gloss while maintaining high speed coating operations. Also allows better throughput of lighter stocks with less wrapping. Includes a heated blower, and blower head, magnet mounted. SMH21, SMH15
• IR Dryer Addition to the Tec Lighting Curing unit to smooth coating surfaces. IRD21 (6KW), IRD15 (4.4KW)
• IR Dryer w/ separate 24" conveyor for aqueous coating systems and to extend the run-out time for UV system very high gloss levels. IRCD21 (6KW) , IRCD15 (4.4KW)
• DRCH Drip Catchers - Pair of aluminum drip catchers for occasional end-dam dripping. Can be set in place using the included magnets for temporary use, but also can be installed permanently.
• NP0116 High Tech End Dams - Pair of end dams with two layers of high tech plastic. These dams have zero fiber and twice the life.
• NOZ02 Extra nozzle and coating tubing to allow quick change over between coating types

Note: additional installation charges may be required if these some of these options are purchased after the coating system has been manufactured and shipped.
